How long can you store marijuana seeds?

Just straight forward how long can you store seeds? And is there a way to preserve them?

stick them in the fridge and they will stay fresh for as long as you need them,

2 or 3 years if you keep them cool and sealed. I have seeds from the 70"s but only 3 to 5 percent sprouted.

Wow 30year old seeds are they a special breed or just like rembering the good ole days ? just the age is something special like drinking a good aged whisky i suppose ?

In a cool dry place they stay good for years. I've heard of 5-10% success rates germinating seeds from the 70s.. some of which were just in a tin box in a drawer for 2 decades.

i have a stash of seeds from 4 years ago and they are still perfectly viable with the same germination rate i get from any other seeds. i just stuck them in a dime bag sized ziplock baggie and tossed them in a drawer. if i can do that just by being careless, then proper storage can keep them viable for quite some time. cool, dark, and dry is what they want.

If stored properly 10 to 20 thousand years.

But for most people 1 to 4 years.
