How long do peeps leave there new plants in party cup size pots ?

My seeds germinated 5 days ago they av shot up quick i av them in my tent under 600 watt hps no probs wiv heat not to near the light alls well so far !
Question is how long before they take root so i can up the pot size ?
Also shud i repot just the once from theese little party cup size pots straight to 3 or 5 gallon pots or shud i use an intermediate size pot first ?
