how long does it take for cuttings to snap out of it

I took 2 cuttings on 1/16 and they are standing up now but not growing and I took 50 more on the 22 nd and these ones are mostly all hanging over, so my question is how long does it take for these cuttings to come back from the shock ,I used rooting powder , I used rockwool for some and promix for some,goo d lights, 10,000 lumen t5 , I think the ones in the rockwool r doing better than the promix , any tips cause all my girls r in flower wo there's no more cuttings to take

In my experience it's about 10 days until they stand up, and another 10 for them to start visibly growing...and I take bit longer than most from what I can gather.

But with clones don't give up on them if you think they look dead, wait until they really look DEAD.

I understand what Ur saying I was hoping to hear something like that , so I still have some hope for them....

There's always hope...I've heard them hanging in for 3-4 weeks before with the right (wrong?) strain, grr!
If only the hydro shops sold patience...

Are you useing a humidity dome?
are you misting them several times a day under the humidity domes?
are you alowing them to breath fresh air for 15-30 min a day?
is the temp constant where they are and above 70 degrees? And not on a cold concrete floor?
did you ph your rock wool?
is the growing medium damp but not soaked?
are your t5s far enough away?
when i do all these things i have 100% every time. I hope this helped, oh ya ive had cuttings start growing after 3 weeks..eesh!

Now thats a great post Ninjabowler ... First thing I was gonna ask was about having a humidity dome since hes using rockwool.. I also like to foliar feed my clones with a super light dose of floraduo part A and B .. a coulpe times a day.

It is completely unnecessary to mist multiple times a day or even daily. They dont need fresh air daily either. Humidity dome though is a very good idea. I get roots in 5-9 days simply misting heavily at cut, sticking dome over them, placing in indirect light and leaving them alone completely for 5 days. After that i start taking dome off for a bit each day until they are growing. Cold floor/air makes em take forever.

So misting them with a very light dose of nutrients is that big of deal for you? you find that hard?? and your not getting roots in 5 days... maybe 6-7 with some luck..

Oh so youve been in my grow room? Youre prob right though it usually takes approx a week for roots.

Its not that its hard its that its pointless and possibly detrimental. Cuttings will mold if kept too damp and the plant is slower to put out roots when the leaves are saturated.
Maybe yours take so long because you fuck with them needlessly?

and two week is average time for a clone to root.. ask anybody you dumb noob..

most people have them under lights and misting daily makes the plant grow roots instead of grow more leaves from what ive heard. When theyre under lights usually the leaves get dry under the dome. And fresh air everyday wont hurt them at all bud, it gets stale air out reduces the chance of moulding. Your way works too, not sayin it doesnt but mine gives me roots in seven days no prob aswell. My crazy ex just cuts or pinches the tops off plants and puts them in a cup of water and comes back to them in a couple weeks and theres roots every where! She just puts it in the window sill after a week or so and it does great, she wont even take it out after two weeks, she leaves it in there for a mont and it just keeps growing. Crazy bitch. Oh and do me a favor and dont correct my grammar, thats pretty arrogant bud.

Wish i'd had this list when I tried my first clones!

I dont mist them with plain water... Its a very light dose of floraduo part A and B.. The purpose is to give them a very small amount of nutrients to help them root faster and stay healthy and strong....

I was correcting cobras grammar because he is a loud mouthed dick head. You seem rational ninja so I wouldnt. If you dont use a dome misting daily is a good idea. Fresh air is not a big deal when they ae basically in stasis. I would like to know who told you that misting leaves causes root growth. In my experience it makes them root slower. Yep cloning is much easier than some make it out to be and there are many means to an end.

I think that as long as you keep your mother plant well fed feeding unrooted cuttings wouldnt be necessary. I like to feed bloom nutes a day before cutting to promote root growth. Too much N and your cuttings may use up stored sugars too fast. To each their own though.
