How long does it takes to see sign of flowering..?

Hello..... I have question about flowering. I just recently change my light to 12/12 two days ago. How long is it going to take to see that the plants are budding when I switch my light 12/12?

I would say about a week to the trained eye, If you have not done this before you may notice signs in 10 days or so. Female flowers are easy to spot by the hairs. If after 2 weeks you are not sure if the funny bumb you see is a female flower it is probably a male flower Unless you have femanized seeds of course.

Depends on the strain, how long they been in veg, if you just straight switched them to 12/12...lots of factors...In around 5 days I am normally seeing something that gives an indication. Give it a couple more days, throw up a few pics if you are still not sure.

exactly. if you know what to look for you can tell there flowering withing like 5 to 7 days. most people that dont know wat to look for about 10 to 14 days

It depends on your Vegging time, if you vegged her like god intented (untill preflowers) you will see flowers very very soon.
Usually I go from seed, veg 8-9 (sometimes more) weeks till trained enough, then usually I see female and male preflowers, kill male, then continue.

EDIT: True and not true, I also think this varies...I just put two reg cheeses into flower and they were both throwing out genitals of some description within a couple of days (BTW: 3 in: 2 males 1 female) With the male it trully does look more like a ball, if they are female you are going to see a pre stigma/pistil coming out of the bottom of your node....if it's a male you'll know, yer skin will crawl, hahaha.

We have all seen the male looking female that suddenly shows pistels, after 7 fucking days thinking its male hahahah (I cant even look at her right now, all them things i said to her)

Thanks guys for the reply... I been vegging my plants for two months now and there all female. I have been growing for awhile now just out door but this is my first time indoor so I decided to flower my plants. I'm just not sure how long would it take that's all but I'll give a week n half to see how it goes. Thanks again.
