I agree with Shoot, when you got it, you smoke way more than normal, and it so easy to explain to yourself...

grading out the yield
I could come up with a hundred more, fact is when I'm swimming in it, I'll smoke or party away 1 to 1 1/2 oz. a week.

Just harvested my first grow... which ended up being one female. Dry, trimmed weight turned out to be 2.08 oz. I'm giving an oz. to my sister and keeping one for myself.
So my oz. has to last the 2 1/2 months till next harvest... which will be 4 plants I cloned from the first (expecting 8 oz). Will be nice to not have to worry about rationing it out to last.
Luckily I'm not a heavy smoker.... so I should make it with no problem and if I run out first it's not the end of the world... just a nice break for my lungs

If it was your first grow, I would not expect 8oz on your second. How many watts are you using? Figure that once you get things down, you should be pulling about 1/2 gram per watt. This means that if you are using a 400watt light, you will end up with 7 oz. And this is still kind of pushing it for your second grow. I would figure on close to 4-5 oz dry with the 4 plants. When you are growing more plants, they don't have the same amount of room, they are not all the same height so they don't get the same amount of light, etc. One plant in a cab will yeild more per plant than 4 in the same cab, but the total yeild will be more with the 4 plants.

I don't agree with the above statement. At least to a point. While I agree if you have a plant with four square feet of room and four plants in that same size room then yes you would obviously get more of the the single plant than you would get off any one of the other four, but If you only grew one plant because all the rest of them where males and when adding more plants you still give each plant the same amount of space as the first one you should be able to expect roughly the same results per plant especially because they are clones from the last batch. My room is roughly 3ft by 2ft by 7ft If I grow one it there that takes up one square foot then I can add as many plants as I want as long as they all have about one square foot and I still get just am much per plant as I do when I grow less plants. My point is if your not adding more plants at the cost of space for the other plants you can expect the same results per plant when grown under the same conditions with clones. Peace.

Medgrow I agree! I have more then enough space to grow the four plants without compromising any one of them. I guess only time will tell and I shall see

Except for the fact that the plants are not getting the same amount of light. Your space is 3'x2', the plants directly under the lamps are getting much more light than the plants on the perimiter. This will cause a lower yeild on the plants that are further from the lights.
If all your plants were grown directly under the light, I would agree. But you can't put all your plants right under the light. This will cause plants in different portions of the room to have different yeilds.
Plus, even if they only took up one sq ft each, the fact that the plants are blocking all the light that would have been reflected to them from the walls will dimish your yeild on your lower buds.

I cut off my lower buds/branches before I flower and my walls are line with mylar so they outside plants get not only light from above but also all the reflected light of the mylar. that being I agree that the middle plants do very slightly yield more about five percent. so if I got 2 o's off one plant grown in one square directly under the light I would expect that if I added more plants to the sides in my room that those sides plants would produce roughly 5 percent less each than the one right under the light.

What way does 1 go about getting a harvest every 2 OR 3 weeks? With out another grow room and preventing the strech from the hight differences ?
I know when to take my clones and when to set them to flower so that it works out every 3 weeks
Ive a small veg room and a decent size flower room (about the size of a grow tent)
Can it still be done ?

If you grow soil it's easy to rotate a new clone in and harvest a mature plant out once a week perpetually also, then you'll always be covered.
I smoke a couple pounds a month.

Depends on the size of the plant, amount of light, nutrient boosters, growing conditions... a lot of factors lol. Outdoors you get more though because you have so much more space for the plant to grow. Indoors you have to limit the height.

i'd say i smoke an oz a month. i buy my weed unfortunetly but im working on my first grow. i've accomplished so many life tasks smoking weed all day so the more i can smoke the better...it makes EVERYTHING more exciting and life 10x easier. jeez i've never owned a pound before...the things i could get done with a pound of weed would be insane. i think with some help from many ppl i could smoke that in a month. my g/f would think im on coke or sumthin.

If you are putting smaller plants in with larger flowering plants, you can just put them on upside down pots, a box, a bucket, what ever it takes to get them to the same height as the other plants.
