how long have you left you're indoor grow unattended?

But I'm set up for it. pan-n-tilt cams in the veg and flower rooms. pumps, fans, lights all controlled via a PLC and/or home automation. Can check on them via cell phone or laptop and adjust things as needed.

wow, that sounds really high tech... do you have a webcam on them, and how do you adjust setting remotely? sounds awesome

at first i am checking mine every day a couple times a day . then as the weeks go on it becomes less and less. i like coming back three days later and finding a big change. as long as your not worried about fire or someone coming across it you can leave it a week at the longest. the longer you leave em the less time you have to battle any problems with em. thats why i wont go away , i just wont grow if i have to be away from it for more than 5 days. unless its outside. then as long as theres rain there ok for a while

yup. Webcam. If it needs water, I can. for *any* length of time. I have a semi-auto mode for 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 minute waterings (through an adjustable dripper, so a 10 minute watering is about .75 liter)

i had to do a 2 and 1/2 week job last year while my girls were flowering - thats the longest i had to go...

they drank about 40 gallons of water while i was gone....

i use a plc like bigbidballs - but no cameras on my grow, that would sketch me out... i would think about it if i was always travelling though.

Oh, the cams are only on while I tell them to be (just a click away). And if I forget to turn them off, they turn off after 10 minutes.

cameras so you can watch the feds kick in the door from across the country. or watch your house burn and know you aint gettin there in time. thats why i would personaly never do it. waaayyyyy to coordinated for me. but right on brotha

So you rather roll up on the fed kicking in your door then know not to go home?

ive left my hydro for 7 days and soil 7 days the soil wilted but sprung right back the hydro was fine other than it turning out to be male. i turn off the hid and put on the fluros if im goin out of town but its best not to leave em to long.... soil i leave em for a day or 2 sometimes 3 because all they really need from me is water and nutes they grow themselves
