After wasting like 50 seeds one seed of mine has germinate using plate and paper towel method, its been 2 days and the tap root has grown like 1/4 or maybe 2/4 of inch , the thing is i will be away from home for 12 hours and in 12 hours it will be night and i would have to wait for day probably to plant it in pot .

So can i delay one more day or it will die?

On my last grow and this one, I had seeds bust and send out a taproot about an inch long, thought the paper towel, pretty much overnight. It should be fine overnight but I’d get her planted!!

I never waste any seeds using rapid rooters.......try them.....they're foolproof.
If you had used them from the beginning you'd have 50 plants instead of 50 dead seeds.

8 years ago, I had started germinating a few seeds when unexpectedly had to leave town and didn't return for 10 days.

I put them into a large coffee tin on top of the warm fridge to let them live or die

It's a shame I didn't take any pictures of these seeds as the tap roots were huge and all curled up in the coffee tin. ( they were about 10 to 12 inches)

anyhow, I put them in soil and they survived, but both turned out to be males

I used to germ in paper towels, some genetics would spit tales a foot long and still be viable, but were they easy to sew? No.

Now I live in the desert and a lot of my old stuff won't pop in a paper towel, its dried out before I crawl out of bed. Directly into cups from now on.

I had to water paper towel every 4-5 hours

That could be.......but he never mentioned that they made it to the soil.......I assumed they died in the paper towel.
You would think that after a couple failures he would have changed his method. Lol.
I changed seed bank , i got auto now , idk if my previous seeds were bad or autos are easy to germinate
