How long in your opinion

Hey bro's

Im am 5 weeks 2 days into flowering my first grow. I have white widow dont know what strain under a 1000w dual spectrum sunmaster. I would like to know how many weeks you think I have left till harvest. I don't have a microscope though they've been producing trichs for weeks but the pistils are still white. I have asked this question on the newb forum but allas no reply. Ive heard generally 10 weeks but im not sure. These pics are from yesterday.

There is a reason you've not received any replies. Reposting into this forum isnt going to be any different. No one can give you an answer, especially when you're so far off.

You're only 5 weeks in. You'e barelly half way through flowering. If you've heard 10 weeks then you're a long way off, and thoughts about microscopes and trichomes shoukdnt be coming into play yet. Just be patient my friend.

Nice looking grow there D! What are the strains? You may want to get some pictures with the lights off. Your girls are well into flower, but still a bit away from harvest. If you are consistantly having grows like this, you should really get a microscope or just a cheap $5 loupe. I have a scope/camera, so I can not only pinpoint (take out the guesswork) "my" perfect time...I can also share the pictures here to help everyone. You can get a decent scope/camera for under $60. In any case, you probably have 3-4 weeks, but who knows! Check my "Your Opionion" thread and go back several pages to find trich and plant pics. Rock on...

They look good and I have grown plenty of white widow before. I have only grown a few strains but mostly widow. What nutes are you using and how often? Its hard to tell from the pics but I thought I could see light pink or purple in the stems. Nice plants though and good job so far.

Firstly thanks to everyone you've all been very kind. When I bought them I looked at price and not strain so I dont know im afraid, I got them from Herbie Seeds though. Aren't purple stems a precursor to phosphorous deficiency? I vegged them for 7 weeks and they were showing sex when I flipped. I used biobizz grow and bloom and for the first 2.5 weeks in flower only used grow. Im watering every 2 days right now and its feed feed water. Im on 3/4 strength bloom and add 1ml of grow per litre. I also add dolomite lime once a moth. I'll put some lights off pics up tonight.

This is my first grow, seriously Walter9999 but I take that as a big compliment. To be honest I think its the seed genetics and 1000w light plus lumatek ballast more than me.

These were taken today just shy of 5 weeks 3 days.

White Widow is the strain, eh? You can get away without a 'scope for tris if you cut off a small sugar leaf and put it on a white piece of paper. If there are tris turning dark you may be able to see them that way. BigSteve.

So I did some digging I found out they're from Female seeds and its White Widow X Big Bud. They say flower is 7 - 8 weeks im nearing the 6. Do I count the first two weeks as they were showing sex as I flipped all be it very early stages.

Flowering counts from day 1 of 12/12.
Most given flowering time in weeks tends to be a tic short.
It appears as though they're about to hit the "bulking" phase very soon, if it hasn't already....That lasts around 2 weeks for your plant breed. Then you wash for 7 days and harvest...
So Then, 3 maybe 4 weeks to harvest.

You REALLY should invest in a scope as that is one of the best first timer grows I've seen in quite a while around here! Don't need to overshadow the success by an early or late harvest!
