How long is it safe to turn off the equipment?

My girlfriend can’t sleep with the exhaust fan humming next door so I’ve been turning it off for an hour or so then turning it back on.
Will my plants die from this?

I’m waiting for insulated ducting in the mail so hopefully this will kill the hum a little bit.

It’s weird, the humming is quite loud from the other room but can’t hear it beside the tent.

Try moving to another wall? If you have to. I would try and do it during lights out. So there is less heat.

Yeah I turn off the light too just to make sure - I usually run the lights 24/7 anyway so a break from them should be fine (it’s an autoflower).

Get a timer and turn it off for 4-6 hours. 20 is good and it still gets some rest.
