how long should i have my light cycle?

i have clones inside right now the daylight out side is 14 hour days where i live should i have my girls at 14 hours light to 10 hours dark before i put them outside?

I'd run 16 hrs light inside then put um outside 1st of May. Had plants start to flower middle of april outdoors here in MI. Every strain is different and some will wanna start flowering at 10-11 hours of darkness.

May 1st outdoors will give them about 3 months veg under the best light they can get. Plenty of time for them to become beautiful trees by harvest.

yeah i want them to get big before they flower to get as much as i can so i might keep them in until its 15-9 outside

i'm on the east coast of canada so would may 1st still work good?

You have them on 24/7. This way when they go out they are in full veg mode ,not slowly triggering flowering with 14hrs.

Middle of may if I were you, just to be safe. 1st of may would be the absolute earliest. Middle of may preferable.
