How long to veg for and what pot size?

hey riu! waken baken for all the stoners out there.

just had an idear for a grow that im thinking of doing and it involves a mother plant.

How long would i have to veg for, for me to be able to get 40 clones a month?
I just 1 want to have 1 good mother plant that will allow me to save seeds as i only have 3 seeds of this purple urkle which i want 2 save

i know most of the questions and stuff i post on here is stupid and stuff but i think this is a legitimate question which is worthy of making a thread. pls help a stoner out

a mother plant is always in veg. take clones as plant allows i never like to remove more than 25% of plant at a time give it a week or two cut some more ect. but i would think a healthy mother would maintain about 30" or so can get bigger of coarse if you start removing clones to early than you will get less cuttings

im not in a rush to start taking major cuts right away i can wait till the plant bushes out more. But the main goal im trying to get is to have 1 plant that i can keep for quiet some time in the pot. do u think a 3 gallon bonsai mother plant done with root trimming would allow me to get 40 cuts?

yes just not at one time i would not clip 40 times on my plant that would violate the 25% rule it would be more like 10 -15 at a time but you will get more than 40 cuttings in the life of the mother i like to foilair feed in veg. lights on 24 hour scheduale it should give many more than 40 cuttings
