How low does CFL make your yield

Cant use HPS cause im gonna have a tight height restriction so i need to be able to grow right up to the lights.......... haven't got any farther on it my dog jumped out of my trucks window today and badly broke his leg...... so I have been dealing with that..... will post back more when i get around to finishing the box.

yeaa i kow wat cha mean about the height restrictions... although a 150 watt HPS wouldnt give off too much heat...and u could deff get the platns pretty close.. but theyre like 70-80 bucks... cfl's will work fine tho.. soo i wouldnt worry about it. but if u have the money. it might be good to get.. even if instead of hanging it above your plants.... you placed it on the side... it would give PLENTY of light to theose side branches. adn they would gow into MONSTERS man!!1 lol

il keep that in mind.... probably upgrade that among other things after my first grow..... I appreciate the input.

no problem man. thats wat i did.. used CFL's for a while. then switched to a 400 watt HPS... was gonna use the 250 watt one at 1st.. but the 400 watter was the same price.. soo it seemed pointless to get the 250 watter
