how many 2 liter bottles?

Im brain storming for improving my grow space and im going to be doing sog what im wondering is how many 2 liter bottles(that are blackened so light doesnt get to the roots) can i fit in a square foot?

anyone got some experience with using them?

thats what i was thinking but crowded would it be? i mean im thinking of doing 3 or 4 per square foot but im just not sure yet i guess i have to see it all and get my shit together im just waiting for my grow to finish so i can do some remodeling

Not that I have a 2 litter bottle to measure, but if a 2 Liter has an area of 28.26 square inches (6 inch diameter) then a square foot would hold 5.0955414 2 Liters.

lol thanks man but its really a question of how many i can fit in there without the plants fighting for light and over crowding......5 two liter bottles would make things shitty shitty i dont think that would be wise

the problem with that math is it doesn't account for the spaces inbetween the bottles like the gaps between where the bottles are touching cuz think about it.....if the diameter is 6 inched you got a group of 4 and you have exactly 1 square foot with spaces because they are circular.
