to light a room like that you would basically need 8-10 600w lights or 6 1000w lights and that would leave you about 1/3 of the room for walking and other equipment.
Do u know what a meter is? I believe 1 meter eqauls about 4 feet. Its not a tiny wood cabinet , its a decent size concrete room!

Well we could recomend watercooled light, AC units, you name it. It is rather vital for us to have information such as how many plants you'd like to grow or what kind of yield you want to be looking at in an ideal situation.
And indeed, 20 square meters is a LOT of floorspace
For your info though, a 600w light will cover a 4 foot square area, a 1000w a 5 foot square area.

you don't plan the lighting for a room based on the room size. you plan the lighting based on the footprint of the plants you want to grow in that room. if someone said they wanted to grow 8 plants and they were going to be 5' tall roughly and 2' in diameter then i would tell them to get 2 600w lights (4x4 footprint) and put 4 plants under each light. if someone wanted to grow 36 plants that would be roughly 4' tall and 1.5' in diameter i would tell them to get 4 1000w lights (5x5 footprint) and put 9 plants under each light.
it all depends on the size of your plants and the lighting footprint that is most efficient in covering them.

Hey yousef, if you're still not sure of questions like "how much light will I need?", I recommend you spend about a week just reading through threads and grow journals. 400w watt lamps arent doing to penetrate worth dicks, and are only really good for smaller grows or SOGing. If you are only going to run 30 to 40 plants, I assume it's not a SOG operation, and you'll want more light penetration for the larger plants.
In other words, don't invest a bunch of money on equipment and plants before you have a better plan/understanding of what's going on.
Search around and find a grow that you like, and see if you can replicate it on a larger/smaller scale.

it all depends on how big you want to make those plants when you flower them. take a 4x4 flood tray for example. you can light it with a 600w lamp. guys come on the forum all the time and say "how many plants can i fit under my 600w?" well, that depends. it could be anything from 1 to 25. if you are growing monster plants, vegging them for 2 months and topping, lst, etc then you are gonna have a huge plant. you will probably only fit 1 under a 600w light. if you did a SOG on that tray and flowered the plants when they were like 8" tall then you could probably fit 25. it all depends on the size of your plants.
