How many Kwh does a 600w hps use on 12/12?

600*10=6000
600*2=1200
7.2 kwh
7.2*10 days=72 kwh
72*3=226 kwh per month
$.0863*216 kwh=$18.64 monthly at my states rate.
Sorry, got a little carried away.

Sick, comes out to only 15$ per light for me, i thought it would be alot more, guess i can add more lights :)

sounds right to me... not that much and completely worth it. 600w HPS produce very nice buds

I hear a 600 watter is the most efficient, when comparing lumen-watt ratios.
Some thing like 91,000 lumens?
so 151.666667 lumens per watt sound about right?

Yeah anywhere from 80,000 to 95,000 lumens. Damn, now I feel like crap buying a 400W MH/HPS system!! The 400W HPS is 55,000 lumens...:cuss::cuss::cuss:

Shit don't feel bad, I am pleased with my 150 watt hps, so I am sure you are just dandy.

Yeah, I am lmao. When I wrote that I was fried & my mind wandered off lmao. I'd love to try a 150W HPS grow one day, how do you like yours?

It seems to be growing 1 plant very nicely, It's in my signature, you can see for yourself if you wish. I think it's excellent for a one plant project.

You are failing to take in all of the required information. You need to consider the amount of amps you are pulling or you are going to be tripping breakers with more lights and then you are going to hot start your lamps and then what are they worth. do your research

It is .6 KW x 12 7.2 kw per day. A hurtalux 1000 hps puts out 140,000 lumen's new. My 600 puts out 88,000 lumen's new. so the 1000 watter makes 140 lumen's per Watt and the 600 puts out 146 lumen's per watt. Not much more efficient really. the nice thing is you can move the 600 watt lights closer to the plants as they are not as hot. 2 600 watt lights are flexible to use and give you 36000 more lumen's for 200 more watts.

Remember this formula. wattage divided by voltage = amperage

1000 / 120 = 8.3
1000 / 240 = 4.16

600 / 120 = 5.
600 / 240 = 2.5

I already did my research and ran a 240v extension cord from my dryer outlet up to my room to give me a total of 55amps max for the room, 600s are only 4.5amps eachish i think so im hoping to be able to cram a few in there nicely.

dead on.

i hear 2x600 hps is about as efficient as you get with an HID system. far better than 1 1kw lamp
