How many lights for increasing size of grow area?

I’m looking to expand my growing space from 3x3x6 to 5x5x6. Currently growing 2 plants on a Bloomspect 1200w (~260w actual) in veg and have a second for flowering. Plants are doing great on one for now!

On my next grow I’d like to grow 5-6 plants in a 5x5x6 space. Will 2 of those Bloomspect 1200w(~260 actual) be enough for veg and will 3 of them be enough for flower? Also have a couple Bloomspect 1000w(~150 actual) that I can add if more light is needed during flowering.

Rule of thumb is 40-50 actual watts per square foot. Food for thought. I have not done any research on Bloomspect - However at quick glance you're going to need at least 4 lights assuming they are 260w actuals.

If I run all 3 1200s with the 2 1000s I’ll be at roughly 1080w actual so ill just run the 5 I have now and hang them in tent 1200/1000/1200/1000/1200. Unless you guys recommend a different way?

Or if you recommend using all the same light I can purchase another 1200 on sale today for cyber Monday

Im an HID guy - Im working on my first LED setup with Timber grow lights. There are much better folks in here to comment on the specific type of light you have and its possibilities, so take my somewhat generic answers with a grain of salt. But yes running your 5 lights would have you closer to optimum actual watts for your space.
