How many more weeks should i vegg? - LST

I untied my side shoots and it seems weird to look at now, i am wondering if this was a good idea?- i was told i didn't need to keep them tied down but it seems now not as much light will get to the stems and what not now:dunce:

As you can see i haven't topp'd them for some time and you can definitely see some strong stalks in development. any advice on what i should do now?- this is what they look like from approx 4-6 days ago, since the last picture (the one people were calling fucked and bare)
 
`ok, now each one of those arms coming off the main stalk, are going to want to grow on their own. When they get a little bigger, start tying all those down too

In the hundreds of thousands of hits those tutorials have gotten that's the very first time I've gotten this, swear to God. Ok, what part do you need me to elaborate on, Can't have an unsatisfied customer out there :)
 
I wouldn't tie down the sides, but I would take the top of the plant and twist it around toward the pot again and make it a flat circle. When you can make a complete circle (only pinning down the main stem) then I would put it into flowering.
It's looking alot better now.
You can pin the side branches if you really want to, but you don't have to.

well lets start with how you got new bud sites to equally make a "+"(4 way) style plant, last i checked when a plant grows it all grows one straight way up and not like this "|" then the next set of leaves forms the opposite way like this "--" kinda like perpendicular, i don't see how topping the plant will cause it to form a "+", maybe i have to read it again and again to get it but it's rather conusing how you make it split into 4 stalks that leaves a spot in the middle.

You should do another post/or tut about making it with more of an in depth pic(s) explaining how to get them to form the "+"

i don't think the main stem will grow anymore because i top'd it,unless you mean untie the top'd 2 shoots and round them in a circle? something like that is possible at this point- i mean the stems pretty thick and i think it's not worried about growing anymore xD

I'd flower now they are gonna grow for the first 2 weeks if not maybe waiting about 2-3 weeks just my recommendation..

I "topped" both these plants. The one on the right turned out to have 3 main colas. And if you follow the middle one down you can see an anomaly in the stem from where it was cut.
The other one, you can see the fresh new leaves right on the top of the stem. I cut the little chunk of new growth off there (actually twice, the first time I didn't cut enough and only got some weird shaped sun leaves out of it.) New leaves grow right back out of the wound. As long as they are young enough and healthy enough.
 
Cool Gidge. I've had triples come up also and figured it was just a sloppy topping, somewhere between a top and a fimm,lol.

Quit cutting and picking at the plant and just let the fucker grow. Maybe top it if you wanna, or LST, but definitely don't do a bunch of crazy shit to it. You'll end up doing more harm than good.

A few things with that and those pics, one being the new shoots looks incredibly stretched, second when i 'top' two new shoots develop but sadly usually the middle makes a come back all skinny and shitty looking. im working with a 150, soon 400 (for my next grow/this one perhaps)

I did go a little heavy with some epsom salt spray, but that's a LONG way from butchering the hell out of the plant. I can guarantee you that cutting all the fan leaf tips will not be beneficial to anything. I never claimed that plant was a specimen anyway, I was just trying to illustrate that your plant should be WAY bigger than that for 50 days. Take it or leave it. I don't care.

Now for you, butchering? as i recall this could very well be a bonsai plant in which i am running various experiments on and wanted to seek a few tips, however i didn not some lil shit to come in and run their mouth almost to the degree of a little kid(including the bad grammar and plant insults xD). Don't be butt hurt your plants just look like ass, and got an assi-fied comment on thei appearance. It's all fun and nice that you confident enough in yourself to not care if your (wtf are you giving it for if you didn't care in the first place? duh?) statements/assumptions being accepted.

i think you need to go back to school and relearn some missed information on communication, or least chemistry before you try botany advisories, let alone trying to grow some marijuana- now if you dont mind follow behind the 11 year old dumb ass above you and repeat his advised course of action. :)
