It seems to be the old fall back. "This forum is full of neo-cons." Personally, of the 1,000,000 plus posts, I have contributed .2% of them. And, I rarely hear the sentiments echoed. Moreover, if I peruse the other threads which I have not participated in, I see 100% liberalism on parade. What gives? Are you libs that insecure? (rhetorical question)

The progressives continue to confuse those who espouse liberty (libertarians) with fascists, nazis and neocons. They hurl the nazi/fascist/neocon fireballs at whom ever disagrees with them without a hint of what they are talking about. It is THEY and the Neocons who espouse fascism.

Exactly...the issue is that I've always had is that so called Liberals will attack you once you disagree. It's all good as long as you agree...

But hey to be honest both parties are like that to some extent, just one a bit more than the other.

The way I feel about the gov is this: The system is so corrupt with so many corrupt extensions that the only way to fix it is to destroy it.

If either O'Bama or McCain is elected, we will see a ratcheting up of fascism like we haven't seen since FDR. Over the last hundred years, the only times fascism hasn't been on the march in this country was in the era of the 1920s and again in the 1950s.

Wake up you old fart, look around. The Bush regime has fucked this country to tears, but, Oh yeah, you got a tax break.

You just can't keep the personal attacks out of your posts, can you Med?

First of all ... the people you are referring to as "conservatives" are NOT conservatives. They are NeoCons. They have, as the left has done with the term "liberal," absconded with the name to justify their own means. If true conservatives were in power, the Department of Education, Energy, Homeland Security, the IRS and the Federal Reserve would have been history by now.

It is not me who needs to wake up Med ... it is you. Either you have been duped through years of left-wing propaganda, or you really know what its all about and belive in the fascist way. I tend to think its the former.

Believe what you want. I believe in peoples rights, the right to have a home, the right to send their kids to college, the right to live a decent life, not one force fed by power hungry Jews that control the fucking world. The Jew controlled media, government,, corporations are all geared to taking from the poor and giving to the rich. You asked me once if I'd rather see money taken from a rich man and given to a poor man. The answer is a resounding yes. The rich have way too much of the worlds capital. It needs to be spread around. There is enough money for every living human being to live every much as good as I, it just needs to be re-distributed. Are there some real scumbags that would fuck it up, hell yeah, there will always be those around, but I'm sure it could be worked out. I'll let you deal with the scumbags. You seem to have a mean streak in you. Now here comes the name calling, liberal, commie, fascist, etc..........

let the republicans be in charge of all defense and foreign policy and the democrats can be in charge of welfare, healthcare and all the house keeping stuff

then the independents can control taxes:bigjoint:

I think you have it just about right, except for the last part. Instead of Independents controlling the taxes, I'd opt for the Libertarians. That way the power of the Republicans and Democrats would be nil.
