How many plants can i grow with this CFL

I've been thinking about a cfl grow and I have one of these light structures as shown in the picture below.. it's 4 feet long and I was wondering how much per month is it going to cost to run two 4 foot long cfls
for 18 hours a day..?

also how many plants could I grow with it??

Any help is greatly appreciated! :bigjoint:

those are not cfls.

and you probably couldnt grow one plant with that.


you could vegg all day long with them, but when it comes flower time.....it will be a different story!!!!!!

huh so they do work well? or what lol.. cus if they're not going to work i'll just go to the store and buy the proper equipment needed..

they will work for veg but when it comes to flowering stage then you will have to get a red cfl

i had a friend who used that light to germ an veg with....i bought a lil 175mh...started things round same time as him....left him in the dust at day 1...pay for some decent lights it will pay off in the end..peace az

welll thats just not true... keep the personal attacks to yourself

i've flowered with flouro's... not worth it...

i've vegged with flouros... works but is SLOW and you're plants will be a bit more stretched when they get bigger than if they were under HID... they don't penetrate much...

but like i said... they'll work for veggin...

Sorry I have been extremely combative I have pneumonia and it feels like I'm being knifed when I cough and of course I can't smoke at all even when my roommate offers to smoke me up. Really though look around, READ for the thousandth time READ!!!!

u dont want those.... is that a t12.... horrible go t5's they also make compact t5's best cfl's around
