Hey guys, im wonder how many plants i'll be able to fit in a grow tent with this dimention, 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.8m.

I am planning to grow all my plants under a 600w HPS light.
So how many plants would i be able to grow in the tent and how many should i grow under 1x 600w hps light?

It's totally up to you. You can do anywhere between 1 plant to 24 plants, just depends on the size of the pot, strain and method of grow you use.

My strains would be:
Barneys Farm Laughing Buddha Feminized
G13 Labs Pineapple Express Feminized
Big Buddha Cheese Feminized

I am hoping to top all of my plants so i can 2 main colas. I'm not sure what size pots i'll be using though.
Would fitting 6 plants under a 600w HPS be fine? Or would they need more light? Also, if i wanted to fit 6 plants under there, what size pots should i use so that they will fit efficiently under the light?

I think the general rule of thumb is 1 plant per square foot, but I personally like 1.5 square ft per plant because I want my plants to have space. Allowing the plants to "breathe" will help you avoid many of the problems that could arise with overcrowding. This could be insects, mold, etc.

I like 4 plants per light, but Michigan also has plant restrictions which if you are legal, you are subject to. I will do 4 plants per 1000w in flowering, but I also have a perpetual harvest and put 4 plants in per month. Harvest is not dependent on how many plants you have, but how much light you are giving them. I heard that the general rule of thumb is about 1lb per 1000w light in soil, (not sure about hydro.) So you are shooting for an average of 4oz per plant, and I see people easily reach that, and the expert growers are getting more than that. So whether you have 1 plant or 20 plants, you will still get approximately 1lb per light depending on strain, veg time, and optimal growing conditions and feedings.

I'm growing in a 4' x 4' DR120 and plan to eventually sort it out to 9 three gallon smart pots and 3 two gallon pots. I'm running 600w hps but I will have to add supplemental lighting to add some light to the plants on the corners.

Why not just install a light rail and let it move from one end to the other during the lights on period....cheaper alternative i guess.
