Thanks man. Also, I’ve never done Aero before. Should I just stick with good ol rdwc? Ngl, aero makes me a bit nervous haha. I live in Florida and hurricane season is right around the corner. I do have a 500 gallon generator tho6-8? It’s kind of hard to say, depends how well they do for 5-6 weeks of veg.
what about FFOF or Happy Frog? I ordered some of that before I knew how soon hurricane season started. I could still get some great results with that right? Maybe save hydro for after hurricane season? Not to mention, winters here are steady 65-70. So I probably won’t even need a chiller, just some hydro guard. If you have concerns about power outages i wouldn't run hydro at all. I'm not exagerating when i say that as little as 24 hours of no power can wipe the whole crop out. If you want some of the benefits of hydro with much lower risk you may want to consider growing in coco or an inert peat medium like promix hp. Excellent growth rate and far more forgiving. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
Soil is certainly an option. I love growing in good old fashioned dirt, i just find it to be slower growth and lower yeild indoor, and it sounded like you were shooting for shorter veg so i threw coco or peat out as an option.what about FFOF or Happy Frog? I talked to my neighbor and he says that the hurricanes that are big enough to cause power outages don’t hit until around late august - early September. He’s lived here 8 years and only experienced 4 outages and they were all during September or later. Should give me 4.5 months of safe growing.Soil is certainly an option.
