How many plants inside a 48x24x60 tent?

I will be growing autos this time around. I have a 48x24x60 tent with a 400 watt mh/hps light. I plan on keeping the light at 50%. I will be growing the autos in 2ltr soda bottle hempys. I was just curious how many would be a good fit in that size tent with that size light? How many plants is too many?

i would go bout 4-6 if going at 50% but if u run the ballest at full i would go 8-10

ok thank you for the reply. I am just trying to save alittle on electric. Thats why I am thinking of running at 50%. I was looking to ufo led lights but I will just stick with the hps.

i have experience in this exact tent. I didnt do autos though, I vegged with a 400w did 6 plants in 3 gallon fabric pots (so i wouldnt have to transplant at all and no worry of getting root bound)
I vegged for 35 days and got complete BUSHES with the 400w. i topped each one a couple times which i would recoment not doing this more than 1 time if you plan to do 6 or more plants as they FILL UP SPACE FAST.
i switched them to a 600w hps to bloom and yeah, i even went down to 5 plants in the tent for blooming and there isnt an inch of spare space anywhere. they actually only fit in a very specific way lol. i switched them at 12-15 inches tall and they are peaking around 25-30 inches tall now 4 weeks in.

ok thank you for the reply. I have a few auto seeds and thought of giving them a try. I know most autos will stay short. I was thinking atleast 4, maybe 6 inside my tent.
