I'm not really educated in the stress department of plants.
I know the basics of stress but not everything so I'm looking for a little guidance.

How many "Tops" or "Sub nodes" as I call em can I remove a day?

I FIM'd my plant which made all the nodes into Colas (or what it seems like anyway) The problem is I have some nodes at the very bottom of the tree that are really stretching for light. I want to remove as many of these as possible before I get into the 3rd week of flower to prevent ultra popcorn nugs.

Basically the picture below points out what I'm talking about, the nodes on the branches that are very low on the plant that light doesn't reach it so it stretches. The picture below is not mine, but you can find my plant in my sig. As you can see its really bushy and only gets bushier everyday so lower lower nodes are super stretching and are just thin branches. How many of these thin branches can I remove a day? I only have overhead light so won't have bottom light as my tent cannot support the heat (Already reaching 85F) I want to remove as many of these as possible before the real flowering begins (At day 3 of flower) and to avoid any hermi.

I have done a lot at once before. Like massacred the poor things. BUT... I come from the school of lolly popping. I've never had a problem. In fact I'd rather get the shock over all at once then stretch it out doing a little at a time. I would have taken a lot of those branches off in veg too. I usually clean plants out twice. Once in veg and once in the first two weeks of flower. Again... I do come from the Land of Lollypop so keep that in mind.

Hmmm I removed one today that was super stretched out I'd like to remove at least 5 before she starts with the frost and pistals everywhere.

How long should I wait to remove like 3 at once since I removed one today?
Sadly I didn't really care for this baby, although on the bright side she came out bangin for something I ignored for almost 2 months (Didn't really pay her any mind cause of Holidays, Family, School, Work, Etc) when I finally got around to paying attention to her it was too late to start LST or tieing her down (Her branches are solid hard, good for the weight I suppose)
Now that she is far along there are a few stretchy nodes I need to take care of so she puts all her power into the colas that aren't stretching at all.

Running lights at night will help combat temps, I run mine at night so I don't need a heater.
You can still LST if you want, but I would strongly suggest vegging more, and adding as much light as you can manage.
My plant from last Winter, I vegged for 30 days, LST'ing from about day 18 and continuing well into the first 6 weeks after the flip.
I ended up with 2 3/4 oz. dried and cured from a bagseed, MG soil and nutes, and CFL's.

Seriously I have done lots at once. I never counted I just take off whatever needs to come off. The plants seal off the cuts quickly. You feel like you're killing it... ;) but then in a week you look at the plant and it's super filled out again. But just in the parts you left. My journal shows some plants trimmed up before flipping to 12/12.

Well my plant is 2 months vegged already I cant veg it anymore or it won't fit in my tent.
The picture shown is NOT my plant, just in case you thought it was.

I tried running the lights on at night but the fans make too much noise for me to sleep properly.
I'm gonna try snapping a few branches off in 3 days and see the out come.
