"intellectually incurious" is a leftist dogwhistle for "Dumber Than A Bag Of Hammers".

neither bush is dumb, and neither has any problem with "comprehension", they just dont agree with your positions, and you dont agree with theirs. saying they are stupid, no matter how carefully you phrase it, is still simply an ad hominem attack, not a refutation of the ideas they supported (or failed to), nor is their personal failure to uphold the standards of honesty and forthrightness i expect from a president any reflection on the people who voted for them.

fuck i voted for clinton the first time, that does not mean i support the stupid brady bill, or his numerous scandals (except the sexy ones, i fully support any man's right to get a blowjob from the willing partner of his choice), nor does my vote for clinton in any way translate to any support for Albert "No Controlling Legal Authority" Gore and any of the wacky bullshit that asshole did back then or does now.

see thats one of the main differences between leftists and progressives, and conservatives. if i disagree with barney frank's policies i can do that without labeling him, calling him a homo or declaring him to be a moron. fact is, barney frank has never to my knowledge ever made a single vote in the senate that i agree with except the invasions of iraq and afghanistan. we are political opposites, but barney frank is still an honest guy who says what he does and votes as he does because he actually believes it. he is not to my knowledge corrupt, self serving, or a profiteer. i hold barney frank in high regard, even though i will NEVER agree with his positons, and would only vote for him if his opponent was a real bastard, like a nazi, or a jehovah's witness.

the bushes are simply unlikeable when engaged in public speaking, and notoriously willing to bend on issues they should hold firm to for their constituents, and are rigidly inflexible on things that most of the people who voted for them dont give a shit about. thats how they both got elected, and then alienated their own base. the bushes both made the cardinal mistake of a life in politics. they both alienated their base and surrendered on key issues. the other side is SUPPOSED to hate your guy. thats how the game works. you simply cant have it both ways. if you are a heel, you have to be a heel, if you are a babyface then you cant hit the other guy with the steel chair. it just isnt done.

very few people can go from heel to face without losing all their fans. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Ronald Wilson Reagan are the only guys who can make a turn without losing their base.
