how much abuse can a plant take ?

Greetings

I have two strains that 4 weeks old and all pass the 3rd node branch. I`ve discovered root rot which stunned the growth dramatically. Long story short i`ve ripped all the roots basically leaving the stem and top leafs. Cleaned both stems with H2O2 and then powdered with great white micorrhizae. Then carefully placed them back in the clay pebbles. One week after I see new roots half way up the stem. The new roots are like 1cm long so it will take a while to hit the water in my DWC setup.

Am I better off planting new seeds. Or should I wait for it to recover if it does. It`s a choice I have to take since i want an octobre harvest. Wish i had pictures, my hands were tied

You could do both. Start new ones in small cups and if the current ones survive, toss em or give them to a friend. Can you raise the water level in the DWC so the roots will get to it sooner? (I know very little about DWC)

Plants can take a LOT of abuse, but removing all the roots.... First time ive heard of someone doing that lol.

And as far as root rot goes, lots of people on here praising this product. It has the same beneficial bacteria as hydroguard but hydroguard is 99.962% water and this stuff is 99% bacteria. So the Southern AG stuff is literally THOUSANDS of times more concentrated and cheaper per bottle.

I know it`s kinda insane, first time I ripped off the roots it was because they where dead and nothing new ( white) came out of them. the Second time was an accident by removing the clay pellets. So now they are staying there. The top leaves are still healthy green, they are just not growing. I keep a 70% humidity in my tent till the roots hits the water.

I`ve ordered hydroguard and great white to use in my DWC. They don`t sell these products here in Canada so it took me while to shop for a great price. If I had these products in the begining I doubt I would have any root rot problems.
