so i currently have 1Black jack and Skunk/huckleberry hybrid:eyesmoke: and bag seed dat just been thru HELL. just BJ sku/hyb have been doing good, but i seriously wanna know what a 400 watt can actually YIELD would LOVE 2 see some PICS of current 400 watt or prevoius ones will update more pics later. TY + REP 4 COMMENT PICS POST ty.... let me know what you think

Looks pretty good, as to the yield question it really depends on too many variables to answer. I mean, you can go with a SOG type grow or a few plants or SCROG...lots of variables. IF you wanna see a 400 grow you can check out my log, it's in my sig or there are a ton of threads as well.

A generic rule of thumb is 1 gram per watt, if ya know what you are doin. Some say they achieve a little more, however, I think most people probably get around half a gram per watt.

Why don't you wait make bj mother and take clones then you grow out like 4 plants get 1-2 oz per plant and keep your smoke rolling. Just a thought

Here is a quick pic of a 400w grow many moons ago. No need for the rep. But thanks for offering. IMHO, I think 2x3 feet or 3x3 feet is about max for a 400. Try to get it within 12-14 inches of the canopy once flowering is well underway. Anything over 20 inches and you really start to lose alot of lumens to the plants.

how much did you get in that harvest?????nice LADIES cowboylogic, will still +REP cause i appreciate the feeed back been so hard to get some help from RIU not sure why but not much help out there or just dont wanna help, so thanks to all i truely appreciate it, i already have several cuttings taken from all three actually got 4 in another aeroponic system that are taking off got 2 on ebb flow system and bout eight more cloning in egg "ROOT"stimilator..mine own of course, check em out gonna make one of the clones a MOTHER these pics bout week and half old will post more when i get outta work K man cant wait till i get home know there so much bigger than that NOW.... how long should i let them veg before throwing clones in hps room, got a VEG room and FLOWERING ROOM, seperate how many can you grow under a 400 watt???

Its been awhile since that pic. Not sure what the yield was. I am more interested in quality, not quantity.
And so many factors are involved. But I would suggest a 4 week veg then too flower. Its a good place to start anyways. And lots of folks here are willing to help. Most though hate redundant questions. Most of what you have asked has been answered here many times before. Do a bit more research first next time. Just a little helpful info. damn .. thats what im talking bout, and as to me already asking what others have answreed many time before but i have researsed alot before i posted but what ive learned is there so many diff factors out there that some times asking the same question has diff results from evryone individual,as you can see with the post some have dropped look at that on those girls 493 grams SICK.. iand i would have found out only if i posted this THREAD have seen several of you around here befor and HOPE to keep learning as this is what i am trying to do.+ rep 4 last three POST NICE GIRL,, would love to see MORE HARVEST of others if WILLIN to show thanks guys..

Here is the best thing I did to an old 400watt MH. Moved the socket to the right and on the left added a another hooked to a 600watt Lumatek w/HPS. It my fav light now. The 400MH for a few weeks after they come out from under the floros. Then add the 600HPS. Then run them both until the last few weeks of flower. Then only using the HPS. WORKS GREAT! Kushberry, Red Diesel, Northernlights and Skunk #1. 27 Days from germ. Just added the HPS 5 days ago. They are really growing now.:mrgreen:

Check out Ebay, Craig List and so on. The combinations and styles of hoods and ballasts are endless! I recommend Lumatek ballast though. I love mine. The magnetic ones have their merits also. And have heard good things about Next Gen ballast. I may try one soon.
