How much CFL?

I have a 300, 50, and 12 watt CFL twist lights. I was goin to use those for the germination process for about 2 weeks. I am also using a plastic dome that covers the rockwool cubes, its about 7 or 8 inches high. SHould i use all 362 watts of the light or just the 300 watt, i wasnt sure b/c the CFL's are about 8 inches away so i was thinking of using all the wattage to compensate for the lost inches from the rockwool cubes.

SHould i keep the plastic dome over the cubes until they are ready to be transplanted into soil? (it has adjustable vents for humidity purposes also).
ALL suggestions are apprecciated! thanks

watts have nuttin to do wit the photo period watts is the amount of power to use lights the amount of lumens does now i use cfl's as well it'll take longer to grow maybe a week or two but it's the same yeild and potency as any other type if light. but three cfl's should do you through your whole three stages of growth.

well i also have a 400 watt mh/hps light, i should have mentioned this, but i was gonna use the cfl's for the germination and for about 2 weeks cuz i dont want the mh/hps to burn the seedlings.

Will using those 3 lights i mentioned be enough light for about 10 seedlings, i wasnt sure cuz the lights were gonna be about 7-8 inches away b/c of the plastic dome

yea like i said cfl's are cool enough for the bud's to touch and not burn or wilt as far as seedlings they're perfect i use two cfl's 1 cool white 1 regular w/ reflectors and that take my plant through all three stages great but if u have hps for flowering that'll be great.

The Cfls WILL burn buds, the cfls WILL burn plant leaves. The cfls also will create heat. Cfls do not yeild the same amount of bud as you would get if you used an hps. And two cfls will not harvest much at all.

Yes, that amount of cfls will suffice for the seedlings- those are the true wattages not the equivalent wattages right? If so you should be all set, perfect pick for the seedlings, and theyll love the transfer to hps. =)

im not sure what u mean by equivilant wattage, i gave you the wattage that was one the box and bulb, so yea the true wattage. I have the one 300 watt CFL, i was thinking about just buying another 300 watt, but can i plug those both into a 120 v household outlet? AND is that too much light for germ/seedlings?, (even though the lights are about 7 inches away?
