How much darkness do you give your girls in flower?

ok here is the deal. I have fucked around with the lights before. 13 dark 11 light. smaller yields but plants got done a week and a half sooner. about 20 % less 13 light 11 dark. bigger yields 5 % more yield but took 2 extra weeks not worth it . 12/12 works best for me. this is my experience. they will change if other people try it. best thing to do is to add co2 and pump it as high as possible 2000 ppm the books that tell you 1500 are wrong. higher works so much better . and as soon as the buds stop fating up put them under metal halide finishes them 2 weeks sooner with the combination of co2. , and keep the 12/ 12

MH instead of HPS?

use hps until the buds fatten up. after there fat they wont get any fatter . they just sit there and get crystals to form. well I switch bulbs. pull the hps out and pop in the mh bulb it will be on for about 2 weeks until there rip and ready to harvest. it really seams to speed up the mature process up quite a bit. this is from my experience. I use hortilux super hps and hortilux blue 7200 k mh.

I swapped my hps bulb for mh last 2 weeks of my previous harvest. cant say I noticed any difference. i would try it again if i had enough spare mh bulbs.

keep in mind I push the co2 way over what most people do 2000 / to 2200 ppm and switch to mh. it just seams to finish a lot faster . this is me any ways. mabe im smoking to much of my own product

Damn, really wish I had two rooms, I'd love to see what kind of difference it would make.

On a side note, regardless of HPS or MH, your bulbs are far nicer than the bulbs i grow with. That will change but this is my first grow.. so I mean, start up is expensive ya know?
