How much $ do you make growing?

I've been doing this for years and do it legaly in MI now. I am a caregiver for 5 ppl + myself and you are allowed to have a constant uninterupted supply. You are not allowed to sell it but you can get compensated for your cost and you determine what your cost is. My cost is 320 an OZ. Also you are allowed to give your xtra away at cost. So I make about 2500 a week legaly and yes i do pay my taxes (sry that my tax money is spent to look for you other non legal growers). I made alot less when i sold illegaly about 1/2 of what I do now. I grow 12 plants in a grow tent and have 12 ready to go for a prepetual 3wk harvest. I have been doing this full time now for about 6mo. and the po po came by 1 time gave me a hard time but i had all my papers and so nada happened I do know however that the DEA can still bust me but as with all business you have to do a risk benefit analysis and i have a good lawyer through prepaid legal who came recomended to me 36 dollars a mo cant beat that for a retainer. Well i hope this helps. I do suggest that you set up in a legal state its not hard even if you dont live in that state. I have a house in MI and one in TN (where i spend alot of time). Also you have less risk and more profit. It doesnt make you a bad person to make a profit off weed. I think it makes you a good person to make it available to others who cant or dont want to grow it theirselves and you should always do what you believe to be the right thing and not let others bully you into doing what they believe is right keep on keepin on....

This is an old post, but people are still responding so I will chime in. The best advice you will get here is to grow for yourself and dont be greedy. If you grow and are not legal and your grow is discovered you will have lots of explaining to do. Yeah u can make money with your harvest. You know that without even asking the question. If you understand how a scale works and you know what the goin prices are for your product, you could easily come up with a magic number to make it work for you. Myself I do this for personal medical stash.

well i have been growing for alittle wile now and i do it to make money i usaly grow 50 plants to earn £10,650

I dont sell so i wouldnt know. What i can say is i sure save a shit ton of money though.

I make Nothing on growing. The main reason i grow is so i dont spend money on Weeds. WHY BUY IT WHEN YOU CAN GROW IT AND SAVE 100-300 EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS. As long as you always have something in Veg and something in Flowering its hard to run out

Ok White Rain, I have only read 4 out of 14 pages of this post.

Let me clue you in to how much money I have made.

First, for an A/C unit for the room it cost me over 3K...

Then add in lights, CO2 equipment, fans, etc we are easily over another 3K...

My electric bill was over $500.00 for a month and close for a few more so add in at least another $800 in electricity at least.

Oh, and dont forget good nutes, they cost a couple hundred dollars per grow...

So, after investing 7,000 - 10,000 or alot more you can start seeing returns in about 6 months.

Do you have the capital to invest? Do you have a relatively large place to grow plants with no one noticing? Do you have the time to wait it out?

If you actually pulled it off, do you know someone who can move the product or are you gonna sell out of your bedroom window?

Answer all those questions and then figure out if you still want to try to make money.
