I used to pay that for an ounce of good indoor not all that long ago. I bet you're glad you hung up the pro growing and are just doing medical now.

I feel like the corporate plan was take the loss to push the value as low as possible, drive out competition, come back and buy up everything at pennies on the dollar. Then eventually start a slow rise on prices. How is there even profit from a $375 pound? I got to tighten things up if people are growing for much less than that.

That's fucked up!
Totally agree. Us , the ones who smoked the mexican brick, can appreciate even our ugly plants after what we smoked before. When i was in college the average quarter bag was seedy stemmy and smelled like it was stored in a wet crawlspace. The sugar leaf trim and leftover pieces i give away are way better than that stuff was. Its so much better to grow your own.I can't count how many fellow growers that have shut down... Dispensary Owners too. It's just gotten out of control, over regulated, and just a real pain in the ass. Just grow your own. I got lbs. in storage and 9 growing.. we'll never run out. Hell, when I was younger, I would have killed for what I would sweep off the floor after a trim team came through and just tossed in the trash.
No kidding!... that brick weed was about half stems and seeds.... lots of seeds. It's so easy now to grow quality weed at home.Totally agree. That's good for him!.... must not be in a saturated market like Oklahoma.Broker told me the only business he has lost so far are the rednecks in my state. Most of his buyers dont want the shit getting shipped from legal markets, they look at it like they did the old mexican brick weed. He is not getting $300-400 a ounce like the 90's, but he is still getting $200 - 250oz easily. His grower is a horticulturist that has been doing for 3 decades though, and he will retire before he lets #'s go for less than 2k.
That's about what it is here. The people who seem to be taking the biggest hit are the ones who only move lbs.he is still getting $200 - 250oz easily.
Wow. I just started looking into micro greens myself. Doesn’t seem worth it though. They don’t need much light, and there’s a fast turnaround. But, it seems like a tough sell. And, not worth much.
