It is crazy. Im a grower for my own use. I dont sell, although i sometimes gift some to a friend or some of the disabled vets i support. I only smoke dispo weed when somebody wants to share. Most of it does not impress me. Shits too green from fertilizing up to the end and so damned harsh! Son in law found a half eighth of ," cookies" some strain or other. Shit was what id call mids. It was ok but most of my homegrown smokes better. I dont know anybody sells weed anymore except that $20 a gram shit no better than mine either. Im thinking i could show these boys something but its not worth the trouble.Well damn. Interesting to see how varied the market is. I can't believe some of the prices people say their market used to be. I'm a consumer first so I'm not really sad to see the drop in my area for good bud.
Anyone can afford a $9/day habit. If that was a $50/day habit then the users kids might not be eating & rent might not be getting paid.
Look if someone is buying herb instead of properly feeding their kids/ making sure they have a roof over their heads; those embarrassments should not be parents.Anyone can afford a $9/day habit. If that was a $50/day habit then the users kids might not be eating & rent might not be getting paid.
So yea, it sucks for producers but probably good for society as a whole. Less financial harm/stress to the "every day" use consumers.
Primary harm vector of drug use is financial.
I agree that new personal home growers can take a bite out of profits. Some will stick with it and others will return to the retail market.Patient count has come down as well. I think more people are just growing on thier own now.
I’m surrounded by legal states but locals have realized that the latest/ greatest store bought green is definitely not better than green produced by a lover of the plant.I agree that new personal home growers can take a bite out of profits. True... I'd put my stuff against anything in the Dispo. I think the Patient count has come down because they can save on fees. If your spouse, or friend has a card, they can go to 1 Dispo, and buy 3 oz's of bud, 1 oz of concentrate, and 72 oz's of edibles in one stop. You can then proceed to the next Dispo, and do this all day long on one card..... as long as you don't get caught with being over the limits stated above.I’m surrounded by legal states but locals have realized that the latest/ greatest store bought green is definitely not better than green produced by a lover of the plant.
Same.. We prob give or share more than half of what we produce (home grower now), and it feels good to give. I don't miss the commercial side at all. It was just a clusterfuck of greed, and regulation. I can now provide who needs it, can't afford it, or just barter services for weed. I'm happy now.Im spoiled now. Since i finally got my shit straight and now can have a good run everytime, i cant imagine buying weed. I cant afford to buy even the cheap stuff anymore so its grow or no smoke. Im not taking any money from anybody cause i dont buy or sell. Maybe it hurts somebody's pocket a tiny bit when i gift my disabled vets weed but these people earned the right to free meds. Most cannot afford Dispo or any other weed. It feels good to drop of an eighth to a Desert Storm vet knowing theyre getting the best I can give for those that risked giving all.
That's if you assume all people out there are planning births and then everything is according to plan after the child is born. What if it's not a perfect world?Look if someone is buying herb instead of properly feeding their kids/ making sure they have a roof over their heads; those embarrassments should not be parents.
Second of all I understand the desire for affordable herb, but a market is really as unhealthy like it sounds like Oklahoma is we can expect quality to diminish/ disappear and what you are left with is mid grade at best being sold for nothing. Then the producers who grow quality leave or retire because they can't/won't operate at a loss or under those conditions.
Do you grow your own herb? That's if you assume all people out there are planning births and then everything is according to plan after the child is born. What if it's not a perfect world?
People don't make perfect plans, make perfect moves, and live perfect lives. Life's a fucked up thing taking place in a fucked up world and people shouldn't have to choose between eating healthy food or pasta and ramen just because they also happen to buy a personal use amount of pot.
I for one wouldn't be able to take care of my family if I didn't have weed because it's the only thing that keeps my brain together, and yes I tried all the big pharma pills. Which aren't usually very cheap by the way.
Dammit man! The Mexican brick looked better than some of that stuff.. Even my first grow . Some of that looks like floor sweepings. Throw in a handful of beans and it would be 1991 all over again. It must really make you chuckle to yourself at knowing how much better yours is. lol. Some of it looks alright for the price but some of those numbers are hard to believe. Course Thc % alone doesnt tell you how the buzz will be. Even if its really 27% it looks dry and not greasy at all. Must come from the Mcdonalds of weed growers. Cheap, tasteless, dry and leaves you feeling unsavory. So its come to this? I always pictured dispos having irreproachable weed. Weed that would reek like hell, look exotic and BE great. Damn.I was in a store next to a local Dispo...Oklahoma schwag weed....terrible terps. And that Cherry Super Neon?... or whatever that says.. total bullshit.

Man. You wouldn’t believe how glad I am that I got out last year… total shit show of a race to the bottom… and the quality as well. Was it good at first?… not really. But around mid 2020, the market demanded good quality. As producers exploded, and the market got flooded, people suddenly wanted cheap weed. … and it stayed that way. Most people can grow better weed just poking thier head in the room every 3 days.Dammit man! The Mexican brick looked better than some of that stuff.. Even my first grow . Yeah… I’m just gonna stick to home growing… I know what’s in it… or not in it, which is more important.Looks like a bunch of light deps
