How much light do my sproutlings need?

Hey guys, growing for the first time. I have 2 sproutlings and am wondering how soon I can put them under my 600w light?

I have seen others use the longer lights (Flourescents)?

Hoping somebody can give me an idea of what light to buy for starting off and when to move them over? Like after so many days or at a certain height?

Just use flourescents for seedlings and clones until they get established (decent root system, a week or two). They are tender at this age, dont want to put to much on them too soon. You can keep flourescents 2 to 3 inches from them without hurting them. What kind of 600 watt lamp do you have?

hmm, cheap reflector for now and a sunmaster 600w bulb, dual spectrum (hps i think, long and thin). Its ages ago since I bought it, lol.
