Should have no light during the night '12' cycle or it will put the plant in shock, if it is extreme difference.

I've heard that very small amount of light leaks will not be the end of the world but why chance it! The moon does put off very little light in nature but I'm not sure what it would be comparable too or if that even matters.. I would just try to keep it as dark as possible and decrease your chances of reverting it to veg or even it turning hermi.

well. i just have a small computer fan on top of my boc but we watch movies and shit at night and have 2 PC's close by. the main light is usually off before the box light goes. didnt know if the light from the PC monitors would effect it any. . guess i can grab a roll of duct tape and re tape everything. currently using packing tape and its a bit transparent.

A PC monitor is quite bright from a plant's perspective. Any light by which you can read is too much imo. Do the plants have a direct view of the monitor(s)? cn

no. grow is in sig, bout page 2 is the pics of my box. its a cardboard box setup, light leacks are on top flaps and where fan is put in, the door in front and the side i cut the box on to open it up for painting.

OK ... I had a look. You should be fine. But the idea of going over the seams with opaque tape is a good one imo ... a lot of light was leaking out. I did notice that a lot of light was also leaking up through the fixture. I would tape that up until it was harder to see in a dark room ... cn

Just remember that those *bright summer nights* only last 1-3 days max. The full moon and perhaps 1 night on either side of it.

A constant light leak is something else again. Plug the light leaks (in flower), or learn from experience.
