Was wondering if these ladies were big enough to start 12-12 on? Thanks for any info. They are all about 12-14 inches tall and on the start of week 4.
How much longer do I have to veg?

you can 12/12 anytime you want man. their gonna be really small if you start now, i usually wait untill i at least see pre flowers to start flowering. But honestly, you can start flowering anytime, better chance of getting a male if you dont wait for pre flowers tho

it all depends on your vertical space limit. the plant will most likely DOUBLE in size during flower so you have to take that into account. if height isnt an issue than its all about preference. the longer u veg the more bud u will get in the end.

if you dont wait for pre flowers then youre most likely going to stress the plant a lot more, usually ive heard to wait like a week or two into preflowering. However, if you dont have much space like the others said the plant can double if not triple in size so youre going to have to give it your best judgment.

id let em go until your around 10 nodes tall. keep em close to your veg light and pinch inbetween the innernodes to keep em bushy

I have about another 5 feet i can raise lights in the flower room, so i guess ill just sit on my hand for another 2 feet of veg growth =(
Very helpful information all, thanks.I just had 5 plants that were just over a foot in height (from top of soil) and 1 turned out to be female. Shes been flowering six weeks and has added an inch to two inches in height only. Everyone says that their plants almost double in height during flower but mine didn't. I cloned her 4 times and have 4 plants 5 nodes tall in veg. I am going to flower them when they are all thick and bushy and will each give me at least a half ounce. I will be able to judge their potential yields after my first plant is done. However, everyone has told me that their plants grow a lot during flower so your only restrictions are height and smell of course (the larger the more potent smell).

Your light wont penetrate more than 2 feet or so into the canopy. So you can have 100 feet to raise the light but it isnt what matters. If your doing say a 400 i would flower clones that are a foot or so tall. That way they will top out at say 3 feet. Your light will be able to get to the entire plant. Even doing this I would remove the very bottom branches that look like they wont amount to much. From seed I wouls wait till you have pre flowers then go to 12hr.

Lots and lots of good information thanks again all, I'm thinking I'll just put their individual screens on them and start training them while they veg for another few weeks. Going to try individual SCROG's on them with tomato props and 2x2 mesh in each pot.

I flower at a ft tall this will give the plant the most light allround.But you can flower stright from seed but from a ft you should get about 3oz depending on the light.But you need a good few plants to get a decent yeild if you smoke has much has i do.But in a s.o.g flowered at 1 ft 3oz..........................................tyke.............................................................
