How much longer should I let these go before flip?/ Would you cull the runt.

So I think I'm gona pull the trigger and grab a 3x3 tent as it should do well with the mars tsw2000. Put 3 plants in the 3x3 and keep 5 in the 4x4
Now you're talking. Two tents is an ideal situation. In the long run you could choose to keep a good mother plant, maybe regenerate the best one of these plants if you are impressed. Then you could have clones vegged and ready for your flowering tent when you harvest.

That's the plan, gona clone everything. Was going to get a second tent anyways for vegging/ moms, but for this run the closet will do fine for those. Now I can flower all the plants and have the best chance to find the best genetics. And an extras 9 sq ft of canopy cant hurt either ;)

his tent is not that crowded... nor will he run into trouble if he flips in one week maybe even two...

he has plenty of horizontal space to fill still...

so what if they grow a little vertical and the trellis becomes a support after you filled your canopy...?

you're using ROI you can get close to those lights if you need and they have a decent penetration....

For instance this is a 4x4 tent at 6 weeks veg. took them another week.8A9CE720-6A47-4CC0-9358-0FD0AA5FDCAB.jpeg

this is first day after 11/13 flip28D36DD3-3AD7-4236-997F-83F2D9E253B3.jpeg

and to yesterday, 11 days after the flip1E8C90C8-5705-452E-B6C2-64575E0BE3AB.jpegF3BBBCD9-3771-4CC1-B696-81B3DD625599.jpeg DBD2BDC5-8553-4E66-B7B7-80001ABBD31B.jpeg

sure there can be a lot going on
They are pushing 3.5ft tall
At 14 days get in the canopy and clean up the rest of the suckers that aren’t worth it and defoliate a little and then not touch her till she’s done.

I’d say go for two more weeks and use a net, use two if you need. Work with what you have. That ROI will do you really well

happy growing

I couldn't bring myself to risk throwing out the best pheno, a lot of plants is a pain but a good pheno is gold!
I'd go with post #7

@Renfro do you know if revegging a plant after flowering is a reliable way to preserve a particular pheno?

Cheers!
you can absolutely reveg a plant and so far have had 100% success in living soil... I will come back and attach pic from my phone but...
after you harvest you leave a few lower bud sites, they dont have to be massive. take that plant and hit it with a 800-1000ppm of fish hydrolase, and a little top dress of ewc/bokashi. then trow them under 24/7 light, doesn't have to even be intense. then you wait...

honestly wasn't in a rush when I did the ones that I will show you, so I didn't track how long it actually took, but id say about 1-2 weeks before I started to see leaf growth out of the bud sites that were left. it takes time.

even after that it took maybe another 2-3 weeks to become the bushes in the pictures... after 4+ weeks you'll get solid bushes that you can clone from and even try to run again if you want ;) haha if you've got the space and time.

I’ll do my best to put em in order but here’s a mash up from when they first started to yesterday.

As you can see they do grow back wonky, and bushy and you can take clones easily, seeing how they reflower now. E46C05DC-5105-4EE6-A9F6-04711C259775.jpeg9CD66FC2-0929-4767-960E-8936A59ED88A.jpeg

Well I just ordered the 3x3 gets here by Saturday. Now I don't feel in as much of a need to rush the flip, ill give them another week or so and fill in the gaps in the canopy in both tents.
I would never recommend against more tents.

4 tents = 1 harvest a month
6 tents = 1 harvest every two weeks
