How much longer? (Trichome pics)

I would cut very soon. Keep a good eye out for mould too. One of my buddies cut one few days ago and wasn’t even thinking about mould until I showed him and sure enough found mould on a few buds on the inside where the bud rests against the stalk. Only for I told him about it and had a look fo him he would have been smoking mould in few weeks and ya don’t want to be smoking that shit. Good luck.

yeah it rained today where im at and suppose to on sunday so i might chop saturday. havent found any mold but on a different plant i found one bud with budrot yikes! but that plant isnt as far along as the one in the pics. its suppose to get down to 34 degrees °F friday night

Sorry to hear that. Yes bad air flow is a problem. My buddy who had the bud rot never had any fans on his plants and I warned him about it but he didn’t think it would be a problem. He knows now why good airflow is needed. Just keep a good eye out for it and get rid of it, you don’t want to smoke anything with mould on it.

I have been relying on small solar powered USB fans for the small MJ part of my first greenhouse grow. Now the weather is crappy and the skies overcast and my remaining plant is 6 (!) weeks overdue, they're not running at all.

With the persistent rain and low temps I've been running sorties with USB power stores that run the fans for 4 hours each!

Without it, I'd have rot for sure... I've got to harvest tomorrow as other plants in the GH have PM starting and I don't want to lose my late bloom to it.

I'm sure your buddy won't make the same mistake next time, it seems it can be a real show stopper.

Hey midge, he will use fans next year, he has already told me. He is also going to put an exhaust fan in his greenhouse too. God damm humidity is the worst for these plants in my opinion. Too high humidity, especially during the flowering phase is a recipe for disaster, or I should say a recipe for mould. Can you imagine how much of that shit is smoked by people who just start growing and never read or look up any information on growing? It’s not just putting a seed in soil and hoping it will grow and live til maturity.

Yeah, I've grown few crops over very many years. It's always getting great advice from those further down the line.

I have to say humidity is definitely the worst problem where I am. I've got to run a power line to my greenhouse again. The old one was compromised. Once I have the power I can get things sorted and that will include a dehumidifier and heater for next year.

I think this year is done for me now, unless I want lungs full of rotten mouldy crap... (I don't.)

All the best to you beaubeau!

Yes you are right, humidity is a bitch for weed plants, although the plants do like it a bit high when they are starting off and during veg from my experience. Don’t get me wrong, I am no expert at growing cannabis but have grown a few plants starting about fifteen years ago. I just learn from my mistakes and read as much as I can on the subject. I live on east coast of Canada and we have lots of wet weather and humidity during our growing season. I find that keeping that humidity down during budding and I have had no problem with mould for while now and I grow in an unseated greenhouse but I do have power for fans. Cheers
