Do you understand photoperiod?
I did 24 .0 and mine had fast growth and did fine. I've never tried 18.6 though.24 hr light is good and pointless. There is no plant that gets 24/7 light. Plants benefit from a rest period imo. 18/6.
I could use the energy savings but will it slow growth?I done it both ways (24/0 and 18/6). I see that the plant grows better (imo) on 18/6. Structure wise and less stress. Like said before no plant in nature gets 24/0 light cycle. But really the difference to me came down to the light bill...
I see not that much of a difference between the schedules, and think 18/6 is better, so why pay the extra 6hrs of electricity.
I plan on mainlining this one so that's why I had it running 24/7 so I could get to the 5 or 6 stems quicker, I'm going to slowly introduce my plant to the darkness since it's already been a week of straight light.I could use the energy savings but will it slow growth?
And you say structure. Do you mean it has better structure, more bud sites? Because that would make it worth it alone
No it won't slow growth. Plants use the dark period to convert starches and... Well... grow lol. I get better growth from what I've seen. Structure I meant More stable stems, not necessarily more bud sites or anything.I could use the energy savings but will it slow growth?

Pre-Flowers can show up as early as three weeks into veg. http://www.growweedeasy.com/preflowersLol. Oh shit
Do you understand photoperiod?
They show sex after u switch to 12 12
If you use CFL's, they don't achieve enough light saturation and quite a few articles are saying it's better just to leave them on 24. I'm not sure how much merit can be placed on the sources, however I can say that with CFL's 18/6 took 2 weeks longer to get to the same point I am now when I Veg'd for 24.24 hr light is good and pointless. There is no plant that gets 24/7 light. Plants benefit from a rest period imo. 18/6.
I stand corrected.Pre-Flowers can show up as early as three weeks into veg. http://www.growweedeasy.com/preflowers
Unless you have a very short veg time most growers can find pre-flowers on their plants during the vegetative stage.
Even better we all learned something really cool.I stand corrected.
