How much nitrogen does a plant need during flower?

The plant will need a bit of N during the stretch and early flower phase. Once it's done stretching though then you can back off. How much exactly depends on the plant but I keep the N about the same throughout late veg and into early flower generally.

I have different fertilizers, I can combine them and make different NPK values.

I think once I transplant, I'll combine the N & P fertilizers to make a 5 5 3 fertilizer that will take me through until flower, at which point I'll combine the P & K ferts to make a formula that has an NPK of 3.5 5.5 5.5. Do you think that's too much N? Or should I go back to the drawing board and try to create something with a tad less N?

That is an incredibly complicated schedule to adhere to, no offence. I'm a first time grower, growing in soil and using pure organic materials, no synthetics.

I've read on here that some people say too much N. during flower is detrimental to your bloom. It can even push it back into veg, is this true? This is what I'm trying to avoid. If I feed my plants a concoction of [3.5 - 5.5 - 5.5] during flower, will that be adequate enough to get me through until harvest?

It's either that concoction OR I can feed them one of the following fertilizers in their entirety: [7 3 3], [3 7 3], or [4 4 8]. I should think that equal parts P&K during flower (something suggested and recommended to me many, MANY times) would be optimal, yes?

too much N can screw up flowering, but it takes a lot. 3.5-5.5-5.5 should be ok, but it wouldn't hurt to decrease that to 2.5 if you could
i use something close to 10-30-20 the first two weeks of flower (when i see actual buds starting to form, not just a few random pistils.)
then i go back to 10-15-20 till they start to swell. as soon as i notice them swelling, i give them 8-15-30 till they get done swelling, then i give them half strength 10-15-20 for a couple of weeks, till it's time to cut them...P is for flower formation, K is for flower finishing.
also, unless one of the product you are using has a good amount of sulfur and magnesium, you're going to want to add some epsom salts at both the beginning and the end of flower, at least half a tsp per gallon.
i'm not sure what an organic alternative to epsom salts would be, but thats the ratios i use, and when i use them.

You’re over complicating it. Use your base dry amendments and water in some some fish/seaweed fertilizer with some molasses a couple times. The weed will grow and it will grow dank. I’m basically an idiot and my shit comes danker than any loud pack I’ve ever bought save for that fuckup when I decided to switch to bud and bloom and my Durban diamonds didn’t like that shit. I’ve got a different Durban cross (x tk) going now and they’re loving the 4-6-3, ain’t even gotta keep topdressing cause they’re in 10gals, just a weekly hit of the fish/kelp and molasses.

My first couple grows was general hydroponics and got good results but not much flavor. Switched to athena and get great results. I mix the fertilizer myself since it's cheaper. If my math is correct this should be the athena flower npk: 2.79–4-8.04 cal 3.4 mag 1 sulfur 3.
I forget how much ppm this formula is but the npk is same as athena:
500mg potassium silicate
2.45g Monopotassium phosphate
3.18g potassium sulfate
300mg micro nutrient mix
3.245g magnesium sulfate
5.65g calcium nitrate

I stop using potassium silicate after the first couple weeks of flower and replace it with potassium sulfate but you have to do the math on that since potash has more potassium than potassium silicate.
