How much PH up Should I use?

the amount will vary based on concentrations of other dissolved salts, and the starting pH of your solution

Sometimes a drop or two can really swing the pH of a gallon (such as pure DI Water), but sometimes it can make no difference at all (like a 2000ppm solution with a pH of 3)

Try a little, mix, and measure the pH and see what happens.

Just remember, the pH scale is logarithmic, so the acid it will take to to drop the ph from 5 to 4, is considerably different than what would be required to drop it from 4 to 3....

That's fantastic man I'm so happy that you it works for you so well I have mixed feelings on hydro call me because it just sounds like it's a lot of work in a lot of testing and keeping your system clean! But that's only hearsay that I've read I have no first-hand experience with Hydroponics it's just everything I read about it makes a sound like a lot of work and if I'm not mistaken your pH is somewhere between 5.5 and 6.5 also something I've only read but you've been using it for 20 years you say oh, and it most certainly works for you that's for sure according to the giant smile on your face lol :-) :-) :-)

Sorry for the typos I didn't see them before I sent
np, I use GH in ProMix, never done hydro except aeration in a bucket. I've found soiless (peat mixtures) more forgiving on pH and feeding. I do about 10 batches per year from seed in 14 litre ice cream pails, 10-12 plants. I don't do SOG or Scrog, too much work. I've been doing indoor since I moved into my house in 1988, 1000w HPS, 400w HPS and 6 LEDs of various outputs. I don't use MH for veg as LEDs have replaced, cooler and cheaper. BTW, OG stands for old grower. Have a good day!
