How much trim for, say, a gram of hash

Just wondering what the ratio is usually. If I have one good plant (which I do haha) could I make any hash from it. How many grams of trim for a small amount of hash?

i think its a 1/10, but i could be competely wrong. i thought someone who had 30g of dried trim managed to get around 3 g of hash...

i recently got around 12g of dried trim, and didnt want to go through the trubble of hash, so i am going to bake it instead

Well that gives me hope! Thanks dude... I had some ganja chai my buddy brought back from SanFrancisco..so delicious. I got all warm and fuzzy and felt like I was melting into my couch! So I guess what I am saying is try and make some chai if you're into that!

Hash uses a fair bit of trim, the 10-1 number your thinking of is more like what you would get from some actual bud, think of trim more in the 20-1 ratio. For my money, small amounts of trim are great for cooking\baking, but not really worth the time of making hash\oil.
Not trying to be a bummer, just trying to tell it like it is.

FDD2BLK has a thread on here about his water hash methods; he gets about 1 gram per oz of trim - but he grows excellent weed.

Does the ratio change for different methods? It seems to me that the blender method gets more bang for the buck so to speak, compared to a silk screen method.

Holy crap, the blender method??? All I see is chlorophyll and tiny particles mixed with the trix there. I don't know anything about that method but I do know that the method he uses is awesome; he gets some beautiful hash and it's easy.

Yeah blender method doesn't sound that great... I'm just trying to figure out the most effective way to get hash with a little amount of trim. I think I will probably just bake something.

My favorite and easiest method of making hash is with the kief box. I put all my trim in a brown paper bag as i am trimming and let it dry tell its crunchy. Then i squeeze the bag a few times to crush it up slightly. You don't want to crush it up to much or plant material might go through the screen just enough to make all your trim about the same size. Place your trim in the kief box and shake it up and stir lightly with your fingers with plant material on the screen. Lift up and Voilà! A large pile golden kief. To press the kief into hash I put the kief into a folded piece of smooth or waxed paper. Put the large pile of keif inside the paper and fold it up into a square. Next place it into cellephane from a cigarette pack or even a small zip lock bag. and fold it again into a square. Place the small square inside of your shoe either under your sole or directly under your foot. The heat and pressure of your foot will compact the kief into a pliable hash after 5 min of having it in your shoe under your foot. This will be a very potent smoke very easily made without bubble bags or chemical extractions.

I gotta try this method on my next grow. I used my bubble bags this past grow and it did a great job but I am always looking to try something different. I take me a hit or two of my hash every night to help me sleep and I sleep like a baby. I've been on sleep meds for over 40 years but the prescription meds are nothing as good as pot or hash. It doesn't take an hour to take effect like the scrip and I don't wake up groggy and I dream!!
