how much watts for 2 oz cfl harvest?

would 4 26 watt cfls pull me half ounce each off 4 clones?

depends on many variables.. Strain, grow room size, airflow, nutrients, soil, molasses, light placement, co2 etc.. 104w isn't that much for 4 plants IMO 1 maybe. But I'm no expert. I would say that to grow a half ounce on each plant is unrealistic because you are only attributing 26w to each plant. If you were to only get 0.5g/watt that would still bring you to 13g per plant but thats if you could find a way for that light to evenly hit all of your plant and since cfls aren't the greatest for light penetration I can't see that happening. Double the amount of cfls put in 8 26w 2700k cfls and put some at the top of your grow room and some in the middle to spread light out the furthest possible.
Or what i would do is build a customized size grow box for one plant to grow out. if i could only have the 4 26w's. So that the inclosed space was small enough to make the most of the cfls, make nice ventilation. grow one plant and hope for 1 ounce or close too. Water, molasses, nutes, water, molasses nutes, flush, repeat. make sure to include co2. well you get the picture.

thanks for reply. it would be a fun experiment in a rubbermaid 30 gallon conatainer. i could do a few more lights but i dont have ventilation. the box will be in a basement that stays around 55 so i dont think it will be too hot. i have great soil in the backyard and i plan to just use that and water. anything would be great but i kind of used that .5 gpw as a guess, just wondering if that sounds reasonable!?
