How much wider do plants get when flipped 12/12?

I know common knowledge is plants get 2-3 times taller when flipped, do they also get 2-3 times wider?

its more of an all around growth they get "wider" yes the whole plant grows not just the main stem.

Generally, though, cannabis plants grow up towards the light (sun) rather then spreading out. Many techniques are used (LST, SCROG) to force them to grow wide rather than tall.
