How much wider do plants get when flipped 12/12?

I know common knowledge is plants get 2-3 times taller when flipped, do they also get 2-3 times wider?

This answer often seems to apply: it depends on the strain.

Generally, though, cannabis plants grow up towards the light (sun) rather then spreading out. Many techniques are used (LST, SCROG) to force them to grow wide rather than tall.

If u go and check my thread I've got pics from beginning to where I'm at now and thats 2 weeks into 12/12 but I'm doing an lst

Yeah it's makes sense that they grow towards the light rather than proportional all around growth. Thanks :)
