OK wanting to grow two strains one for energy and the other to help me sleep .

Thinking growing Photo for energy and Auto for sleep because I won't need so much.

Any other ideas?

You should not be looking at it as photo or auto, you should decide if you like energy strains "sativa" or couchlock strains "indica" and go from there.. I would say the hazes have always been good for me as far as energy but they take forever to grow.. Also Afghani's are the go to for your couchlock indicas..

Both do not have the same effect at all.. Just because an Indica and a Sativa are both cannabis does not mean they have the same effects, at all.

Again if your advise is "cannabis is all the same, just smoke more to get couchlock or less to get energy" is absolute nonsense and after that comment I believe nothing you say, you proved that you do not know what you are talking about, you obviously are a new grower and barely smoke..

Or maybe you just bought into a myth, and placebos work well enough to keep you convinced. Go do some reading, kid.

Or maybe I have grown both sativa and indica for over 16 years and smoked herb for over 30, I do not need to do any reading to tell me that indicas and sativas are not the same.. Maybe you should be the one reading up on how this plant works before trying to give shitty advise.

Indica vs sativa is dying bro science. I'm not sold on the terpenes causing an entourage effect either.
I just read your link. How do you make that statement off of that link? The article simply states that breeders aren't held to the same standards to give the same names. Even tho that's a fact surprisingly lots similarities are to be found.

Indica vs sativa land race def has different effect on the body

It's all the same, just smoke less if you want to feel like its a sativa and just smoke the whole thing if you want it to feel like an indica.. SMH, that is the dunce comment of the day.

That's totally wrong. I have strains that are 5 hr of pure energy and socializing, and strains that put you to bed, strans that are almost trippy. The difference is the genetics of the plant, and that is heavily based on the type of traits you breed for. Taking energy and tippy from sativa, and sedative from indica. Different land races provide a different high when smoke equally is my argument

It's THC. There is no chemical difference aside form THC / CBD ratios and terpenes, which are blurred between indicas and sativas.
