Ive actually been on the look out for a small punt or V nose car topper to get into harder to get to areas. I bought some kayaks but they hurt the old body.
Lots of rivers here with dam walls and no boat ramps to access.
I used to do a lot of ocean fishing/boating but im over that.

I really really wanted to catch the fireworks there again this year

The Hex hatch is happining. 6lb’er coming right up.
Trophys for sure there. We use my light action kokanee rods there. When you hook up to one of those big ones, it takes some skill.
Cant wait.
We got some pretty big browns out of there this spring again.

It was popping in December. I haven't had time lately with my property and work. I also enjoy looking for gold, old cabins, mines, junk, ect. There's a life time of it up here for sure, have fun good luck.Right on!

I’ve done lots and lots of prospecting over there.
Missing the prospecting.
I sold my other property around 6months ago over in yuba co. I had a recirculating sluice setup on my portch there. We would get a couple/few penny weight out of around 10-5 gal buckets of classified material we would get from my seasonal creek on the property. Def gonna miss that!
Aint gonna miss the fact that yuba county adopted the shasta outdoor ban. Motherfuckers! I had a deputy as a neighbor too. Fuck yuba county.

Fuckers, we got the tehama treatment up here this year. I worked on a piece of property near Forbes town this last winter. The owner pointed out some old tailings near a small spring, seemed like an odd place for gold, but they must have been finding something to hand stack all that rock. The county line ran right through it with gardens on both sides, hah!Oh hell yeah dude!

Big tides out in the bay = leopards, sand and 7gill sharks. Out the gate, throw in some thresher too.

We’ll get them, like I said on big tides, bouncing live anchovy or sardines going for hailibut. I’ve caught plenty over the years with a big ass piece of cut bait like mackerel and shit too.

I already get Hella-butt. I want the sharks even though i think I'd be afraid to touch the sharks with my bare hands, I'm going to need some gloves.... once I get good I plan on catching one in an inflatable raft.
