I may have posted this before but can't remember so i'll ask again. How old does a plant grown from seed have to be before i can take a cutting?
Now,after reading up in various books some say that there's no particular moment in time to take a cutting but it's better to take from a plant that has 8 nodes or over.My Big Buddha Cheese girls are 4 weeks old and are ten nodes high now, approx 1 1/2 feet. Now I know usually that you take cuttings from lower nodes because they contain more rooting hormones but is this the same on a plant a few weeks old grown from seed?I read somewhere that cuttings must be taken above the eighth node which will make it near the top of the plant or have i got that totally wrong?
