how old should they be before i get the big light out?

hi how old do you think plants shoud be before you can get the big light out, as i killed the last lot with the big light ??

I totally dont understand his question lol. But on this note, veg for a little over a month if you can. The longer you Veg the greater your yield should be. I'd say to about 15".

you can use the big light from day 1 if you want to. just move the plants a few feet away.

the link is broken but you can see new plants under the 430 watt hps on the first day of a 12/12 from seed grow.

Has soon has the plants you are growing have roots,get them straight under the bigger lights but it goes against everything i belive but i do it my self.have the light at a fair disstance away from the plants a metre or so till they get a couple of sets of nice leaves on then over the courseof a week lower the lights a cople of oince at a time.if the grow room is built right good air fow good air exaust there should be no problems the sooner there in there you will be supprised how fast they grow.but make sure that the temps are all set ok.and have the fan blowing above them while they are yound and tender once they have been in a week you want the light to be no higher than the fan 7/12 ince.
