How quick can pollination happen

I mean, I understand that as SOON as I find out I have a male, that I need to remove it from the other, possible females. I mean, I know that i'm going to have 4/4 females, im irish, what can I say...But yeah, can pollination happen, before a male show's sex..like if you already know if ones female, can a male that hasn't showed, pollinate that female? Thank.s a lot:joint::peace::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

males develop flowers (balls) which grow and mature and then open into pretty little yellow flowers. if you cut when balls are just showing, none of the flowers are mature. they have to open to drop pollen, and females won't be pollinated unless they do.

no....to pollinate the female the male needs pollen... the flowers need to form and then burst open when they are ripe...once that happens it takes mere seconds for the dreaded pollination to take place... still when ever I have males I do tend to remove them from the grow room,,,, but keep them alive and I collect their pollen so I can make a controlled seeding of one or two lower branches,,,so its not all bad if you get some good seeds :^)

Nice. Well then I don't have to worry about pulling them RIGHT when I see the polline ball's forming..That's what I was affraid of, that it was this short window of time that you have to pull the males within, or everything goes horrible. Thank.s for the knowledge guy's!!

and what happen's with hermie's...do they ruin the bud or what...it would obviously make the bud full of seed's..but would it actually harm the bud at all..taste.etc..?

Hermies still grow bud right, so I could just pull it from the rest of my plant's and grow it elsewhere?

the time it takes them to go from small visible balls to open flowers is usually about 14 days. short window, but you have time to be certain ;)
