How safe is Amtrack?

CA med patient here. I'm traveling to ND around the first week of november and I want to take some meds with me. Since I gotta show off to all my old friends I want to take my 1k PaKoH oil set and a 1/2 oz of some BHO but Im not taking weed. I'm making a discreet case for the bubbler and I'm considering making a stash spot in the foam and glue it shut untill I reach my destination. I've taken amtrack on several occasions and have never had problems. But the last time I was out of state on one was 3 years ago so I dont know if anythings changed. My sister tells me that greyhound searches all of your shit in salt lake city. Don't know if amtrack has adopted that practice.
I travel on train from sacramento to klamath falls oregon then bus all day to pasco washington and on the train through Idaho, northern Montana, North dakota, all the way to the very eastern side on the border with minnessota is where I get off. About 3 days.
Should I risk going to prison in another state and losing my oil set? But I'm not sure if they can take it since there would be no residue and I would have a bag of some herbal tobacco to go with the bubbler if any questions are asked.
I would really like to know how risky this sounds to others. Otherwise I might think twice about going at all. I DO NOT want to smoke or buy any weed in that town period.

As far as i know, they still don't search (i know a few guys that have traveled that way in the past for this reason). I don't think you should have anything to worry about, although technically i think they have the right to search your bags if they want and some of the bigger city stations have dogs around here and there.

Iv rode the train to oregon a few times and they dont search shit I even burn at stops but that's not smart.Just stash it in ur bag and you will be cool.
