a home made light consisting of 3 35W 2285lm spiral cfl bulbs.
For a small intro into growing and learning the basics... i think its the best way to go on a very small budget. Even if you dont yield anything but a smaller than average yield, you are learning... about the plant and the process... my only advice... if you find it becoming a hobby and want to gain from your initial experience then upgrade to a "little" bit better equipment and by the time you realize it you'll be 5 years in with good equipment and yielding better outcomes

Thanks for the reply’s guys. Would it be to much of a change for the plant to swap the light out for something better

When I grow singles, I find that they will usually take up a 2x2 area.
If you use decent current-spec diodes, 120 watts would show a HUGE difference in yield compared to what your cfl rig will do.
If you do upgrade your lighting, I'd just dim the new fixture for a day to allow the plant to acclimate to more light and then pour the coals to her.

Many growers change light source when switching from veg mode to flowering, so it wouldn't be out of the norm really. I agree with @GBAUTO , and would suggest an upgrade to a 120w LED quantum board. You will get double the light for just a few more watts than what you're already running. More light = more buds.
